2026 University Services HOYAS Awards
The University Services HOYAS Awards were developed to celebrate and recognize the work and contributions of our University Services colleagues. Spanning many business units and departments, University Services fulfills a critical role of service and support across the university. These awards provide a new opportunity to recognize ten colleagues who have gone above and beyond to contribute to the Georgetown community in outstanding ways.

Diane Brown (Office of Public Safety, Security Officer): Diane is recognized for her unwavering commitment to campus safety and community, consistently going above and beyond with vigilance, warmth, and a genuine dedication to supporting students, staff, faculty and visitors.
Rev. Ebony Grisom (Campus Ministry, Director for Protestant Life): Rev. Grisom is honored for her exceptional leadership and constant presence across campus, fostering deep community connection through compassion, accessibility, and a steadfast commitment to supporting others in both moments of joy and challenge.
Matthew Huters (Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Procurement Manager): Matthew is celebrated for his outstanding service and leadership, cultivating a collaborative and supportive environment while consistently going above and beyond to empower colleagues and strengthen the broader university community.
Kishan Kariawasam (Office of Advancement, Senior Director of Technology Operations): Kishan is recognized for his reliability, humility, and willingness to step in wherever needed, exemplifying selfless service through his consistent support of colleagues and dedication to the success of the university.
Anne Koester (Office of Compliance and Ethics, Program Specialist): Anne is honored for her longstanding commitment to safety, integrity, and mentorship, playing a critical role in protecting the university community while leading with compassion and quiet excellence.
John LaRue (Office of Communications, Art Director): John is celebrated for his creativity, responsiveness, and collaborative spirit, consistently delivering high-quality work while going above and beyond to support and elevate university initiatives.
Wei-Han Liu (Office of Public Safety, Senior IH and Environmental Compliance Manager): Wei-Han is recognized for over two decades of dedicated service, making a lasting impact on campus safety through his expertise, responsiveness, and unwavering commitment to protecting the Georgetown community.
Michael McLaughlin (University Information Services, Senior Systems Developer): Michael is honored for his exceptional technical expertise and innovative contributions, consistently enhancing university operations while embodying collaboration, positivity, and excellence.
Wayne Mircoff (University Information Services, Director): Wayne is celebrated for his deep institutional knowledge and outstanding service, strengthening Georgetown’s data and decision-making capabilities while fostering a culture of support and collaboration.
