Ayana Thomas oversees the integration of sustainable business operations into the day-to-day activities of the campus community. Through strategic partnerships and planning with campus stakeholders, the Office of Sustainability mobilizes sustainable ways of being and enhances practices to advance Georgetown toward a more sustainable future.
Prior to joining Georgetown, Ayana led business optimization and strategic initiatives in campus operations at The George Washington University for 12 years. She holds degrees in Organizational Communication (Xavier University), Religious Studies and Counseling (Howard University), Organizational Leadership and Learning (GW), and is a doctoral candidate in Human and Organizational Learning (GW).
