Lisa Belokur

Lisa M. Belokur is the Vice President of Planning & Facilities Management and is responsible for the oversight of the physical campus including a workforce of approximately 400 staff. Major functional areas include Planning, Design & Construction, Engineering & Utilities, The Office of Transportation Management, Facilities Management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Housing Operations.  

During her time at Georgetown, she has led the partnership with ENGIE North America to provide upgrades to the university’s major utility, distribution, monitoring, and control systems across campus. Lisa developed a data management, customer service program that oversees work intake, communications, and work prioritization for Facilities Management. Lisa has also established and provided strategic oversight of the campus deferred maintenance program, created the office of Engineering and Utilities, led the renovation of multiple buildings and residential halls, has championed new initiatives to help the university’s sustainability goals, and has established a world-class training and development program.

Before coming to Georgetown, Belokur has held management and executive positions at Tompkins Cortland Community College, Ithaca College, and Cornell University.  Her experience includes the management of general construction, landscaping, maintenance, custodial activities, sustainability and waste management. She has a record of success in planning and directing the delivery of services to large institutions, as well as managing budgets and inventory worth more than $1 billion.  

Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania and her Masters of Science in Strategic Communications from Ithaca College.
